For my graduation I have done bachelor of engineering(2013-17).during my engineering in July 2015,on my 5th semester we all students had to do a one month training program. So we 5 friends (including me 3boys+2girls) were went to Bhopal for our minor training. Before this I never been in train journey.i was leading the group of my 4 friends. I was doing all the work like-
1.Find a good training center- we all want to go outside from the city ..so I searched about the center and I found it in bhopal.
2.Booking train tickets- I did it first time,I made my account on IRCTC and booked tickets
3.Find accomodation- I search it in online and I found a good place near our training center.
4. Arrangement of foods- For this we took an electric conduction (Chulha) with us so we could cook whatever we want to eat.
We all were very excited for the journey and specially for the days which we were going to spend with together. This 20-30 days of training period was like a picnic or holiday for us and we wanted to enjoy that days and we did too.
Finally the day came when our journey was going to start, we all 5 friends met on the railway platform. 2 girls were came along with there's family. There family members were very sured that we 3 boys will definitely took care of these 2 girls and the girls can also took care of themselves.but the main fact that they (all 4) were very chilled and relaxed and they didn't know anything. They believed that i am there so all the responsibilities is mine and I am the only one who handle everything.they only want is relaxation and enjoyment. So somewhere I was feeling responsible for them specially for girls.I was sure that we'll go safely and come back safely but there was an incident when i was so scared which I'll talk about later.
Our journey was starts,it was an evening train. one of girls from two said that she will arrange our dinner (Actually girls are best on this and this girl and her family are super).on next platform her one of family members gave us a bag containing our dinner and a various kind of snacks,foods etc.
On the next morning about 10-11am we arrived at Bhopal station. We took a CAB( which I booked before start our train journey) and went to NEHRU NAGAR(our Training center and accomodation was there). On CAB I called the owner of our rental rooms and informed him that we are coming and asked him to share his location to me so we could easily find that place.he send me his location on my whatsapp and after 30 min of travel we reached there.. owner offered us water and shown us our rooms which was on second floor. We choose two rooms in one room we 3 boys were living and in another room 2 girls were living. We talked about rents and we agreed on an affordable amount.after that we all were shifted and I went down with the owner for the documents formalities of room renting.
Owner gave me a contact number for order food.. after taking shower and fresh up I called and order 5 tiffins for us .we had our lunch and took rest.
Later in evening we made a list of things which will require for food cooking.. like all kind of masala,rice, flour,poha and vegetables stuff. After that we all went to a market which was near from our rooms,this place is like our city but it's more clean and people here were very helpful and friendly.we had our shopping it's been 9 pm so we took our dinner near a veg resturant. Restaurant owner gave me his card for anytime food order.
Next day we went to our training center which was just behind our rooms and the luckiest thing was center's WiFi range cover our rooms so we used this free service in our rooms too.Training was going very good We 5 are separated in 2 group and doing our lab work very well.
Every evening we went to explore the city we went many places like Van vihar national park,big and small lake(we did boating there),gufa mandir,Kaliasot dam(this was the place were a scariest incident happened),we went new market for shopping,on that time Bahubali1 was released and we went a multiplex to watch that movie. What an amazing movie..
We ate a lot of Street and local famous food there.we used to eat jalebi evey evening..andthe uttapam we ate there but it's been 2020 I never have like that tasty uttapam.we were liking the city in few days.people surrounding us were very supportive .one of a auto wala bhaiyya was very friendly with us he took us wherever we wanted to go.
So I came to the main stoey- the scariest incident-
Once an evening we 4 friends (one of a boy was want to rest so he didn't come with us) were went to Kaliasot dam( where we already went it was very near from our room). We reached there almost 5:30 pm we spend some time there and play some games after that one of girls said let's go to other corner( where was a main road ) and we said ok lets go .so we were going there and taking pictures along with. After some time we reached the main road,we ate some stuff there.after that the same girl again' said let's go from the downside of dam.on that time slightly sun's rays was coming so I agreed. And we all were walking through downside road. This road was full with trees , looks like a jungle.and there was no street light but on that time we didn't think about it.we were in our fun mood . walking on the road doing with fun stuff.on upside of dam this downside road was looking like a small area which we could cover in few time but in reality it's taking more time.we were continue walking but not reaching our destination and also there were no vehicles on the road. Time was going on and later it's been very dark.road was Fully empty,we were only people who on the road. Sounds of many insects and organisms were coming along with darkness grows and sound of barking of dogs are becoming higher,this sound was creating a fearful atmosphere. We all were being very scared I was also scared but I was not showing it in my face and keep saying- nothing will happen just be calm and keep walking but the fearness was increasing in their mind specially on both girls. And One girl catch my hand very tightly,I could understand her fear.she keep saying"I am getting scared" and I tried to motivate her and said don't worry we will reach safely.
Then I told another boy to be in left front and I"ll be in right and both girl will be in middle. in this position we were keep walking then we saw a light rays,we thought it was any taxi or auto but it was two bikesy and people on the bike were screaming loudly (they were drunk) they crossed us ,Maybe those people had seen us so they were back after being away. And passed close to us.this time they were not screaming they just wanted to observe how many people we were (mean girls+boys) after went some distance they started screaming . We all were very scared and the girl who catch my hand started crying and saying- 'I am getting scared'.in this situation many terrible thoughts were coming on my mind. The main fear I feeling was two girls are with me and somewhere they are my responsibility. Their familiy believed us that we will take care of their children. And I could not get anything wrong. Then I boost myself and told another boy we have to take care of our friends.if it requires then we have to fight and he also agreed. Then I took my phone and search taxi on Ola,but on that location there were no taxi(which I earlier checked).then we saw that the bikers were stopped in approx 500-600 meters far from us.girls were scared and both start crying and one girl said we shouldn't come to this downside route and another girl started praying HANUMAN CHALISA. And I was also praying on mind that God these all are my responsibility please Help us! To reach safely in our rooms we"ll never do this kind of stupidity again..then my hand goes on my left pocket there was a card. I remembered this was restuarant owners card I immediately called him and told him we are in downside of Kaliasot dam and we are very scared and I told him whole situation then he said just be there I am sending you help. I told about this to my friends and boost them don't worry we will be safe ( before this I tried to call to one of our friend who was in room but he was sleeped so he didn't pickup and our house owner went out of city).
We all were standing there and the bikers were also stayed 500 meter far from us. After sometime ...saw us not moving,they start their bikes,louding horns and coming to our side.we all were scared and girls keep praying,then we saw another light rays coming from opposite side,this was an auto and this was the same auto we used to took to go any place. We saw autowala bhaiyya and feel very relaxed and our blood pressure is being normal. We immediately sit on the auto and the bikers crossed us. Auto wala bhaiyya told us that restaurant owner called him and told our situation and he was near this location so he immediately came to us. He told us that in evening this place become very darker because of this trees and many drunk people choose this place for drinking. We all thank him ❤️ and told him you are like savior for us.after sometime we reach the restaurant we offered autowala bhaiyya to eat with us but he said his wife and children are waiting for him .so he have to go.we understand it.and paid auto's rent and thank him again.
After this we were tired so we decided we"ll have dinner in restaurant and took parcel for that friend.we went to the owner and thank him for helping us. He said it was a human duty to help. We had dinner there. Owner was not accepting the dinners bill but we forced him to took it and we again thanked him and came to our room .and we decided we"ll never go in late evening.We never told that friend about this incident till today.
This was scariest moment of my life till today.
